Longing for Beth Lipman’s sculpture at Mondrian SoHo

  When we designed Imperial No.9 at Mondrian Soho years ago, a magnificent piece by Beth Lipman was placed in the center of the garden room restaurant, inspired by the fountain at the now gone Four Seasons Restaurant. We noticed recently that the new owners removed it from the room. We miss it.

Featuring a classic Donghia chaise

Serving as a juror for the 13th Annual Senior Scholarship Program for the Angelo Donghia Foundation made me realize how much I like this classic Donghia chaise. While really “making” this room, the piece is gracious but not loud. And most important of all, it’s the most comfortable chaise you will ever find!
