Senior Designer A Chicagoland native, Scott began his career as a designer at a young age. Constantly fascinated by art and how things worked, he took apart just about everything to discover how it was made. He began classes in architecture and product design during high school, which led to his acceptance into the Industrial Design program at the University of Illinois. Graduating with the highest honors and with a design patent, he also received several design awards including the IDEA award for a novel invention called the TAK Pushpin. After being scouted to work for the W Hotel, Scott realized that his true passion lay in designing furniture and interiors rather than products. He gained several years experience designing and engineering retail displays for mass production. Eventually, he accelerated his career while working for 555, where he was able to design, manage and install interiors for luxury retail brands, nightclubs, and fine restaurants. Following his desires to live in New York, Scott was thrilled to join BNO Design, which pushes him to learn more and offers him a continued opportunity to explore hospitality and residential design. While missing his dog who resides in Arizona (long story), he loves to explore New York, remain distracted by just about everything, and tries to keep his hands out of the chocolate chip cookie jar. |
