Senior Designer

Originally from Colombia, Marisa has acquired skills from all parts of her life to create a career that integrates her architectural talents with her interior design.

While working in Spain, she began designing various retail and housing projects. In addition, she had the opportunity to study and design public spaces in Barcelona at the renowned studio of architect, Enric Miralles.

Marisa holds a Masters in Architecture and Ephemeral Spaces from Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña in Barcelona and a B.S. in Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. She is fluent in Spanish, and can speak German and French.

In the United States, she worked for three years at the leading architectural firm of Philip Johnson/Alan Ritchie Architects in New York City. She was involved with both architecture and interior design engagements, such as the Pennsylvania Academy of Music in Lancaster, PA, and various high-end residential remodeling and construction projects.

Marisa enjoys traveling the world in search of experiencing new culture, new design, and great vacations. She is also very interested in Yoga and is the only person in our office who dares to attempt the Scorpion position.
